From our bylaws (which are located under Members):
The Faculty Association of Ocean County College is an association
formed of the faculty members of Ocean County College, with the objectives of providing opportunities and procedures for expressions of professional concerns of its members, promoting fellowship among members of the college community, providing liaison between faculty and administration and promoting the general welfare of its members.
The purpose of the Association is to support members professionally, bargain collectively, enforce the contract, resolve grievances and support legislative action that furthers the Association’s objectives.
The goals of the FAOCC are:
- To preserve and improve the economic interest, working
conditions, health benefits, job security and pensions of all members.
- To address academic concerns of the faculty.
- To promote academic excellence.
Given the current climate on campus, the FAOCC remains the best vehicle to protect our rights and begin rebuilding OCC to make it once again an enjoyable and productive place to work.
